Smithers... you're suprising me. Why stoop to the level of a Dan, Fritz or
Jack Goff.
At one time you seemed a step above this. Coming out of the closet?

Besides, the 'Canadian' survived his three wounds. His wife, who was born &
raised in the Carolinas, came to Halifax to become a Canadian citizen and
then went back home to help wherever she could.....died leaving her children
motherless.

How in the world did he think that was a funny comment?

Don, sorry to read about the terrible incident.

JimH,

Here is another sad story:
http://www.coshoctontribune.com/apps...EWS01/70109009
I am sorry to read about this terrible incident.

In fact, damn it is easy to read 1000's of the terrible incident every
day across the world. Why should we limit posting about death to
Canadians who die in US cities, sure none of us knew the person, and to
the best of our knowledge no family members read rec.boats, but heck it
is a sad story. We could fill up rec.boats with 1000's of posts of
untimely deaths, or wait, maybe it would make more sense to post them in
alt.obituaries.

I didn't think my comment was funny, but I did think Don's OT POST was a
really sick way to turn this families tragedy into a classic rec.boats
troll. In fact, this might be the lowest type of troll I have ever seen

You are one sad, pathetic, sick puppy Smithers. I'm glad you've been outed.
Looks like my post has had one positive result.

Don,

Here's another sad story:
http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/s...ebe952&k=54450

wow I found another one that is much closer to home, this makes me very
sad because it happened in your city. See you don't even have to look
outside of your city limits to feel sad.

http://www.cbc.ca/cp/Atlantic/070110/t011021A.html

I am really feeling depressed now, all those Canadians dying up above
the US border really makes me depressed.

Why would you want to cut and paste an article about someone you didn't
know, dying in New Orleans (a city you don't live in), when you could
cut and paste 100's even 1000's of other articles about Canadians being
killed by Canadians. All of those people have family members who are
now grieving because they have lost a loved one. What made this one
person more important than all the others who have lost family members
to a violent death. It might make more sense for you to cut and paste
obits and news articles about death to alt.obituaries, than rec.boats.

Some how I find it hard to believe with all of the deaths that occur
every day, that you cut and pasted a news article about a Canadian who
died in N.O. because you felt sorry for the family, and wanted us to
share in your grief and help you through this stressful time. To me it
seemed like a really **** poor troll about guns in America and how
violent America is.

So forgive me if I find it hard to believe that you shared that article
so we can offer the family members our condolences about their lose, see
I thought it you was just you trolling for a political fight.

Oh my...how many times are you wrong in the above ramblings...??
First of all...I didn't cut & paste anything... I provided a *link*
There were a couple of articles in the local paper with local people
praising this lady and the effect she had on the local artistic community.
Seems she had made quite a contribution here and many truly missed her.
It just seemed so tragic to me, because this woman could have stayed here
relatively safe & secure ..but wanted to go back to her homeland to try and
make it better. If you don't see the tragedy in this, I feel sorry for you.

See you are a trolling low life scum sucker who was using this poor
womans's death to make a political troll. Are you so stupid that you
don't believe any of the people who have died in Halifax, didn't think
about leaving the city at one time or another. Isn't it a tragedy when
those people die? Just think, if they had left Halifax, they would not
have died in Halifax. I can tell you that most people who die are truly
missed.

This might be a new low even for you.

One of the dangers of boating near a hydro-electric dam is that if you
get too close to the spillway it's pretty easy to get, *sucked in*.

Yup, I did get sucked in on that one, even though it was so obviously a
spillway just begging people to get sucked in.
