Just confirmed today - It's a limited edition 1979 24' Carver Montego
sports hull. Apparently the serial number shows that I have hull # 122 out of 150 for that model year. Glad to get this one resolved!! Cheers! In communication with Carver they were even unable to assist me - however I dont feel that they were interested in the waste of time a public inquiry might cause....So the search continues! Thanks again for your input, Jason. Do you know the LOA of the boat in the photo? I'm guessing 22-24 feet, and would be surprised if it were a 26-footer. My reference to cabin window size: in the photo of the 26 the cabin window is a bit longer in proportion to the superstructure. Longer boats typically have a greater number of windows, or larger versions of an equal number of windows. |
