Mostly they are designed for three or four people to go offshore fishing for a few days. We looked at a bunch of Hatts before getting the GB49. Yeah they are and I've looked at a couple - the fuel economy, or lack thereof, scares me a little. I'm trying to be somewhat economical about the fuel thing - not because of cost so much as just the thought of burning through 300/400 gallons of diesel just for a fishing trip. The best part was the obligatory climb up the tuna towers. :-) That's one thing that I would probably not opt for. To be honest, I'm probably going to end up with another Contender or similar boat. Cheaper to just buy the wife and a companion lots of cruise trips. |
