Default Coast Guard Rescue Video

The "Oak Bay", a 58-foot wooden longliner built in 1944 was flooding
this morning.

USCG assets were deployed to drop an auxiliary pump.

The pump was adequate to control the flooding, and the "Oak Bay" was
being escorted into port.

Select Oak Bay Videos 1 & 2

A close look at the conditions in which these guys were fishing will
quash any illusions that Pacific means "peaceful" in these latitudes
during the winter months. :-)
