That seems a bit harsh in my humble opinion.

Let's all make a New Years resolution to respect each other's opinions
just a tad more, even if we don't always agree with them. Presumably
everyone here has at least some small interest in boats or boating,
and we would probably enjoy shooting the bull over a tall cold with
just about everyone if by chance we ever met.
