this is why it is useless to discuss ANYTHING with Bassy, either he does
not have the ability to understand anything or he chooses not to.

Reggie, I looked into it. I called his bluff and contacted Pillar Point
Marina. I gave cut and pasted the exact paragraph where Bill claimed
that they just run the boats aground and let the salvagers have at
them. The first part of the reply was this:

Sir,
Please rest assured that this practice is not done at Pillar Point, or
any other marina operated by San Mateo county. Our county prides itself
on being in the forefront of environmental regulation, and to do
anything such as you have described above would, as you have stated,
not only be illegal under California criminal statutes, but also under
the strict guidelines of our state's environmental laws.
