Sure!

Not enough profit in the boat to also have to pay for it. The

Delta is littered with abandoned boats. Some are even large barges.
Enviromental disasters waiting. The Counties spend millions trying to
get
rid of them. So you think they are going to tie up a $500 / month slip
for
2 months on the bet that the boat might be sold for $1000? I can see
why
you are not wealthy

Which was a total lie, I contacted Pillar Point and got this reply:

Sir,
Please rest assured that this practice is not done at Pillar Point, or
any other marina operated by San Mateo county. Our county prides itself

on being in the forefront of environmental regulation, and to do
anything such as you have described above would, as you have stated,
not only be illegal under California criminal statutes, but also under
the strict guidelines of our state's environmental laws. There is an
area that is commonly referred to as the box. This area is where we put

watercraft to hold, that are grossly delinquent in fees. This area is
not, however, a salvage area. We hold the watercraft in this area until

either payments have been satisfied, or liens are in place. In the
worst case, if liens are intact, we dispose of the boats in a legal
manner. This usually involves selling either at auction, or to licensed

salvagers. Thank you for your interest.

They drag it up on the beach, the salvagers strip it,

So, there you go Bill.....thanks for playing. I know, I know, you've
once again been proven dead wrong, so you'll resort to childish name
calling, then low life comments about me, my wife and my kids.....

Why are you denigating your family? They have to put up with you. Where
did I say you can legally abandon your boat? The delta is littered with
abandoned boats. All numbers removed and then the taxpayers get stuck with
the disposal costs. And as I said and Pillar Point confirms. They put the
boat in the box and then legally salvaged. You want to salvage the boat.
Go to the harbor and apply.
