Why not start a lighted boat parade tradition back in MD?

The first year or two would be small, but with a little PR and
determination you'd have something really worthwhile before you
realized it.

It's not too late this year to put holiday lights on your boat,
including a nativity scene if you're so inclined, and stage a parade
prior to the heart of the holiday season.

Once November 15th hits, the doors to the boatel are closed for the season.
The aisle way is filled with boats from the slips, and the hatches are
battened for winter. It gets *cold* here!

I wish it didn't get so cold. I think a Christmas Parade of boats would be
fun with Christmas lights twinkling all over the water. Cool!

I guess you never heard about global warming. It's really 76º outside
right now.

I've got a tee time Saturday, we'll see how it goes. It's supposed to be
about 20+ degrees cooler than today.

We used to play for peanuts in the fall when I was up north. We walked
the course and lost a lot of balls in the leaves - not just off the
fairway. I think 18 holes was maybe $10 for a course that would
normally be $35 + cart. Since it was slow we would pack a small rod in
the bag and catch a few bass and bluegill in the lakes between shots. I
miss that, but not the weather that soon followed.
