I suppose you think the world is only around 6000 years old, huh? Or do you not belive in the bible? Do you think Jesus is a fictional character who did not live approximately 2000 yrs ago? Never said that. Never intended that. Sorry, Reggie, you can't put words in my mouth. In short, he could have been a real character, and could quite possibly been fictional. Do you have any evidence that he was real? And again, do you believe that the world is 6000 years old, or don't you? No I don't believe the world is 6000 yrs old, do you? Nope, it's much, much older. Yes I do believe an individual by the name of Jesus lived about 2000 yrs ago, do you? No, no one has shown me any diffinititve evidence of such. I don't however NOT believe it, either, same reason, no one has shown me any evidence that there wasn't. Well, i guess one can not believe in any historical info, because one can always say it was not definitive. Well, an intelligent person can gather data, and if the data is overwhelming, surmise that an event probably did happen. Physical evidence is one good clue. That's how most people who commit crimes are caught. But, in order for the physical evidence to be plausible, it has to be directly linked to the task at hand. Jesus's face on a piece of toast isn't quite as plausible as say, DNA evidence. |
