I saw a first today. Coming back from Big Sur, and just after leaving
Monterey, a BMW actually used their turn signal. Shocker. But I guess
due
to inexperience by the Bimmer driver. He turned on the left turn signal
and
then changed to the right lane.

Around these parts, the worst drivers are Mercedes drivers followed
closely Lexus and Hummer drivers.

Soccer moms in Chevy Suburbans tops the list around here.

Yep. Cherokees are out. Big, black Suburbans are "in". The soccer moms
all drive 'em the same way ... fast, tailgating, no brakes until the very
last minute and , of course, the cell phone stuck in one ear.

BTW .... what a beautiful day up here today. Calm before the storm or
something. Feels like spring.
