It means that the oil... as it gets old will begin to oxidize... and you can't get the oil as hot as it *SHOULD* be without tasting nasty. Might as well get an extra half mile of propulsion off that Thanksgiving bird. (Just kidding, you wouldn't want the impurities in unfiltered and unprocessed fry oil introduced into the fuel system). Works for Larry, doesn't it. OK, he is settling it in a drum for a month then filtering it and adding 10% petrol to thin it.
