I don't think that my 22 ft'r would require a radio, and I will check out the idea of licensing, But I'll check out what the Coast Guard has to say about it. Thanks! If other on a small lake, you need a VHF. May not be required, but needed. If you have problems, and do not know exactly where you are, and use a cell phone, you are going to possibly be looked for, for a long time. And how do you hail another boat nearby? You have his cell number? |
