lower unit fill/drain plug stuck

Get a hammer impact hammer. http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000723.phpThe biggest problem with these plugs is people don't have the right screwdriver. If it doesn't have a good fit across the whole plug it will cam out. I started with the biggest screwdriver I could find and then ground it for a perfect fit in a new plug. The sweet spot was a ways up the taper of the blade where it got wide enough for the screw. |
