Ok Bassy, here's your one chance to engage in reasoned, rational debate. What exactly was confrontational about this post? -- No problem: "It seems to me that Fantasy Politics is Dungeons & Dragons for people who used to get beat up by people who played Dungeons & Dragons." Confrontational is an adjective meaning of or related to confrontation. Your above sentence is confrontational to people who may want to play Fantasy Politics because you are deeming them as "people who used to get beat up by people who played Dungeons and Dragons. It is PURELY confrontational because you have no evidence nor data that would suggest that was true. Nice try. Unfortunately, it doesn't wash. Uh, it may not wash in YOUR closed mind, but it is a true statement, and spot on. How could you possibly spin it to NOT be confrontational? If you weren't trying to be confrontational, why did you type that sentence? You could have just posted the URL and said something like: Here's a URL for Fantasy Politics if you are so inclined. |
