: Actually, I prefer regular old jelly beans. The non-standard flavors don't do much for me for some reason. There's a great joke that goes along with this thread: A college professor of psychology was doing research with children and wanted to test their ability to associate colors with flavors. He bought bags of mixed flavor jelly beans and brought them into a classroom of 1st graders for the test. He handed out red jelly beans and they all associated them with cherries, blue - blueberries, orange - oranges, green - limes, etc., until he came to the neutral colored honey jelly beans. The students sat quietly eating the honey-flavored beans but just couldn't identify the taste, so the professor gave them a little hint. "It's something Mommy calls Daddy.", he said, flatly. A little girl in the group suddenly spit out her bean onto the floor, scrunched up her face and said in a loud voice, "GROSS! It's ASSHOLE!" |
