I don't think I attacked FOX, John. But then again, "I comment, you decide." :-) Check out the footware next time you're down on the dock. You'll see boaters running around in everything from bare feet to shoes that are entirely inappropriate, IMO, for a boat. If you asked me to describe the sexuality of the folks wearing the various shoes, I wouldn't have a clue in most cases. OK, I guess the pot bellied bald guy wearing the two-inch pumps and mascara may be slightly obvious; but flip flops? No way. They are legitimate footware on a boat, for either sex. There are forces that want to chip, chip, chip away until we are a society of single mided conformists. How can "flip flops are for metrosexuals, not for real men" be considered news, anyway? Well, at least you're now focusing on footwear instead of a TV station! I agree that the telling sexuality by shoes is probably not the accurate thing to do, but there are folks who think they can determine same by any number of 'clues'. Personally, I don't give a rat's ass. What 'forces' are you referring to in your post? |
