Slop in steering wheel, not outdrive... help ;)
I have a '94 Chaparral. I was cruising the past few times and have notice
ALOT of play/slop in the steering. When I was troubleshooting witht he boat out of the water, the out drive really doesn' thave much play in it. the steering wheel seems to have all the play. What is the best way to trouble shoot? Most common causes and expensiveness of them? I've had the boat for about 5 years and no steering work has been done, but alwyas had minor slop not much.
