I was considering repairing my old boat top. The plastic windows have
weathered out and some of the stiching has started falling apart. The last time in the 80's this was repaired by some shop I've been told. Its my next project. Has anyone repaired something like this themselves? Where do you get the plastic window material from? (It has to be sun resistant I believe to last more than a couple years). Likewise, what thread would you use and is it vinyl that they use for the cover? |

If you can see yourself repairing it, you can therefore make a new one.
