: From what I gathered, they were focusing on Russian billionaires who probably bootlegged the music from Usenet! Don't make light of too many Russians. The finest MP3 catalog program on the planet is: MP3 Catalog Pro from www.wizetech.com for $US30. In a very large collection, it can search through its all-RAM-based catalog and show your honey all the songs by Travis Tritt in about a hundred milliseconds, not grinding through disk files for 30 minutes like most programs that do the same thing. Simply drag and drop the songs she wants straight out of the search window into Winamp's playlist where you want to play it in order and you're now in business. When it creates or updates its catalog, it dissects every MP3 file it finds, separates and stores its ID tag, even the newest version ID tag information, and can even create a unique filename.mp3, if you like from the information stored....or the other way around. It's written by some really smart Russians, you know, those guys who are making money from the US Taxpayer's Space Station sending touristas up with the groceries...for big bucks...(c; If you have a Windows-based MP3 collection I highly recommend this program so you can find what you want, so easily it's uncanny.... Napster sucks....You may quote me...(c; -- There's amazing intelligence in the Universe. You can tell because none of them ever called Earth. |
