: No binary support via my ISP, not about to pay another service when there's no guarantee I'll find the music I need. Don't be so cheap. Go to www.usenetserver.com and buy 3 days of unlimited downloads for $3 to try it out. Is that cheap enough? Then, buy 3 months of unlimited downloads...really unlimited, 10 simultaneous ports, 24/7, as fast as you gots bandwidth to support, for $39. Your ISP may be a problem blocking port 119, but UNS has that covered, too, because you can logon to their many OTHER ports to get around ISP blocking. Rather, I often look for music that's quite obscure, and I usually need it NOW, for various reasons. No time to post a request in a newsgroup and hope someone lights up and offers the music 4 days later. |
