Default Cost of Prop Repair

"JR North" wrote in message
.. .
Back around '97 or so, I had Kruger & Sons (Seattle) go through the
14.5X19 SS prop on Cruis'n Rulz!. Full meal deal; straighten, edge weld,
hubbed, polished. Cost: $125.00. Beautiful work, these guys do.
Today, same routine; $235.00.
I think next time around I'll just replace it.

Not sure what the point of this post actually is...
(maybe a plug or slam on this particular shop?)
There are a ton of prop shops in Seattle, and yea,
stuff is always getting more and more expensive,
thats why you need to shop around. You also
failed to mention what the replacement cost was
for this 14.4x19 Stainless Steel prop Further,
what you are doing with this prop anytways to
be needing "straightening" and "egde welding" ?
