Theres alot more to it than just peeling the tin off, You can't just
leave the structure up too, All the supports and beams would have to
come down as well as the electrical, then you have to cut and cap the
pilings. Thats not cheap either.
I think for the $$ spent they should band together and fight it, and
maybe get grandfathered in, or just bite the bullet and comply.
BTW Chuck if you see this post i was wondering what paint you used on
the hull of Indulgence. I have a friend with a body shop, and was
thinking of having him paint my old Correct Craft. UD

The name of the paint is ALEXSEAL. It's a 2-part linear poly. With a
careful prep job, I'm sure you would be absolutely thrilled with the
results. I know I am. Everywhere we went on our summer cruise, people
were shocked to learn "Indulgence" wasn't a brand new boat, and even
more shocked to learn she was built in 1982. :-)
