I'm setting up a fully auto rope/chain windlass for a glass boat. I have to
set up a bowsprit to give a plow anchor room to swing without hitting the gel coat but have to make the bowsprit as short as possible. Any ideas how to work this out or where to find the information? Some glass boats seem to have extraordinarily long bow sprits. My boat has a ladder on the bow and I'm worried about the leverage a bowsprit added to the bow of the boat would produce. Glen |
