You still don't get it. Don said "think small"...not "buy a small boat".
To me, the saying "think small" means the opposite of "think big"...and that
translates to a lack of ambition to excel in life.



Duh!
You were complaining about acquiring insurance for larger boats and the
cost if you were successful.
My advice really was to consider a *smaller boat* that would be easier &
cheaper to operate, store, insure etc etc.
Up here real men have braved the North Atlantic in the dead of winter,
first in dorys launched from schooners.. and now Cape Islanders (called
lobster boats south of the border).
In other words.. 'half the boat, twice the sailor'.
