Absolutely, although I think it wouldn't have lasted more than another year or two, for other reasons which you may remember. There was talk of how much suffering we were causing because food or medicine couldn't reach innocent civilians, although that criticism was directed more at the oil trade limitiations. Whether it was true or not, I think that would've ended our involvement simply for reasons of public image. |
