"JohnH" wrote in message ... BoatUS has produced a guide for preparing boats for heavy weather. Some of you southern/coastal/Great Lakes folks may find it informative. Me...? I keep mine in a nice, cozy, expensive boatel! http://www.boatus.com/hurricanes/hurr_prep_guide.pdf -- ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** John The article is not applicable to the Great Lakes area as you suggested John. We do not experience hurricanes. Although we do sometimes experience tornadoes they are instantaneous events and no amount of dock lines to secure a boat will save it if hit by a tornado. ;-) |
