Hi. I'm trying to find the name for a part of a boat but Googling
something you don't know the name of has proven unsuccessful. So here I
am.


What do you call that long, narrow appendage on the bow of some boats
(you see them on recreational boats and yachts a lot) that allows you
to walk out over the water?
