Looks like I have to spend about a week in Lost Wages in September or
October. I'll have some free time, unlike every other time I've been to
that marvelous town. I want to enjoy some of the natural surroundings
outside of the city, not near the casinos, and away from the buffets.

Nature, that's what I want. Suggestions for day trips not too far from
the city that present sights and activities worth seeing and doing?
