i have a 1978 mercury 85 with no tilt trim. what is the best position
to lock the trim in. i have 5 different positions. |

Whichever position best trims your boat on plane, as high as possible without cavitating is best ride and efficiency, however, this may cause problems with cavitation getting on plane. |
