Helping a friend who was rushing off to fish & wanted motor for
backup. Doesn't have manual; I have older & newer.
Spark on both, fires on only #1.
He got spare used coil & switch box from a dealer (had nothing new -
the price of living in the boonies) - who said they came off working
motors.
When coils are switched, #2 only fires; switch box had no effect.
Got shock thru spark wire & replaced - same.
Tested coil & reading not as prescibed, though dealer said close is
okay.
Fisherman left & I hope to get manual, then do step by step test.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
