I've got a 53' Carver with twin diesel Cummins 425. Actually, I'm looking to
install some flow meters. However, just for a gross measure I've just
finished a 110 mile run taking 10 hours (mixture of running speeds) and I
burnt approximately 200 gallons on each side == you are looking at 20gph on
each side for a total of 40.

Hopefully you can do better with a lighter boat and smaller engines.

Can anyone offer an idea of what the fuel flow rates would be on a 35
Carver, with twin 310 hp?

400 gallons of fuel to go 110 miles at an average of 10 mph?

You are paying what, about $3.50 a gallon? $1400? To go 110 miles?

On a five hour, 120-mile run to Virginia Beach on my 25-footer, I burned
55 gallons of gasoline, about $190 worth, we stayed in a first-rate
hotel for three nights for under $600, ate some fantastic meals, and
brought the boat back on a trailer (240 miles at 13 mpg, or about 20
gallons at $2.99, or $60).

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

40 gallons an hour at an average speed of 10 mph?

Yikes.

Remind me to be happy with my little 21ft Proline!
