"Harry Krause" wrote in message . .. I'm really intrigued by the jet possibilities. I know there's been substantial development in this area the last 10 years, but I really know next to nothing about them. The idea of hardly any vulnerable running gear hanging "down there" is very appealing. I know little about them either. Last summer a guy stayed in the slip beside me overnight. He was enroute delivering a new 36' Hinkley to Key West. Although not his boat, he also personally owned an older Hinkley Picnic with the jet drive. I got to shooting the bull with him and he told me the new ones were really optimized. Before he left the next morning he showed off a bit for me in front of my boat demonstrating the Hinkley's manuverability. It was a single jet with the 440 hp engine. Eisboch www.eisboch.com |
