Hi all, Fairly new lurker here. I'm looking to buy a used Seadoo Sportster jetboat. Use will be 50-50 lake and sea. Is there much risk using in the sea apart from drawing in debri, and if flushed after each use will salt harm anything much by virtue of being sal****er? thx ron My nephew runs one..mostly on fresh water but occasionaly on salt. I'm thinking that if you used it in salt, it wouldn't hurt to take it for a short spin in fresh water afterwards to cleanse it. I'd be more concerned which engines you gave. His twin Rotax engines needed expensive work right after he bought it and luckily there was some kind of warranty to cover it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ortersLake.jpg |
