The primer coat is on, and the boat already looks better than it did
with the 23 year old gelcoat. I'm using a paint that is not that well known here in the Pac NW. It's called ALEXSEAL, and it's made in Germany by a company that also makes the paints they use for commercial jets. (Mankiewicz). They have been around for about 100 years, and the yacht paint division has been developed by a guy who used to be the head of U.S. Paint and has an excellent reputation in yacht finishing.
