Well...the US bullied & pushed us around and is now getting away with
only returning about 78% of the money it had stolen from Canadian
lumber interests.
So much for 'Free Trade'. Canada had to agree to a cap of 34% of the
US market.
My question would be...if the US wasn't honorable with the original
Free Trade Agreement, how can it be trusted to honour this agreement?

Too bad. What are you going to do now, invade the US like the Mexicans
have?

Since our dollar is now over .89 US and rising...we'll just buy you out
and send the republican supporters packing. (unless they see the evil
of their ways & repent)

The yacht brokers in the Pacific NW are all saying "Throw me in the
briars!"

Business is brisk right now with Canadian buyers. For the last 10 years
or so, when the US dollar was a titan vs. the Canadian dollar, the
Canadian brokers have all complained that they were running low on
inventory as US buyers were crossing the border to scoop up boats that
were artificially cheaper based on currency exchange rates. With NAFTA,
any boat built in North America crosses the border duty free.

The Canadians are down here now, buying everything in sight. Lots of
boats going north again. Oh well, we'll have to wait a year of two
until the US buck gets stronger again and then some of the same boats
will once again turn around and head south.

And don't speak too harshly about those Republicans. You can thank the
current congress and administration's fiscal irresponsibility and
record breaking deficit spending for driving down the US dollar to be
close to par for you guys. If we don't get some fiscally responsibly
leadership in DC soon (from either or any party), you'll need a
wheelbarrow full of yankee dollars to buy a cubic foot of Canadian
natural gas.
