Is there any better, low cost way to clean a boat with lots of leaves in it
(I blew the leaves out with a leaf blower, but they still leave lots of messy residue), mildew on it, etc, that's been sitting around a few years untouched? I'm on one now, and so far I've had pretty good results with a bucket of water, a cup of el cheapo detergent, a splash of bleach, and a solid long handled scrub brush. Although it's done a good job on most of the boat, there are a few spots I'm going to have to give special attention to and get tough with. Tips or advice welcome. |

Clean it up the best you can without going crazy. Believe it or not, a few weeks exposed to the hot summer sun will bleach out the remaining leaf stains naturally. RCE |

Can't tell from ypur post what the boats made of or if you can drain it
easily by tipping or drain plug. I have rented/borrowed a pressure sprayer before with excellant results. For oil grease, forget soap/detergent and scrub with simple green, it really does work differently. |

RCE I have noticed this phenomenon too. Many times, my boat is cleaner/whiter when I return to it after a few weeks in the sun, than when I left it. I thought someone may be cleaning my boat while I was away ![]() why-izat? db |
