Is there any better, low cost way to clean a boat with lots of leaves in
it (I blew the leaves out with a leaf blower, but they still leave lots of
messy residue), mildew on it, etc, that's been sitting around a few years
untouched? I'm on one now, and so far I've had pretty good results with a
bucket of water, a cup of el cheapo detergent, a splash of bleach, and a
solid long handled scrub brush. Although it's done a good job on most of
the boat, there are a few spots I'm going to have to give special
attention to and get tough with.

Tips or advice welcome.


Clean it up the best you can without going crazy. Believe it or not, a few
weeks exposed to the hot summer sun will bleach out the remaining leaf
stains naturally.
