Need advice on how to lace the bimini cover on my T top. I had a nice one
until Ivan dropped a big limb on it and broke it up. Got the frame repaired, and a new bimini. Now, it's time to lace the thing on. Problem being I didn't pay attention to how it used to be, and now aren't sure what's best. Do I lace each side independently of the others (insofar as the nylong rope goes)? Or, do I try and do it with one super long piece of nylon rope? A problem, too, is the corner grommets. The tubing frame has rounded corners, so a line put over the radius to give diagonal tension will just slide off. How do I handle this one? |
