Any of you northwesterners know this brand?

My coffeemaker company sent me an email announcing the
availability
of
Tully's Coffee in "k-cups," which is what I use. Claimed it was a
leading brand in the northwest and had some interesting blends,
including a "kona," which I enjoy.

Opinions of Tully's Coffee?

Thanks!
Dang good stuff. Wish they were available in Oregon. Always
drink
some
when in Chuck's country.
Thanks...I'll order some of the kona.
Coffee snob.
when I was in college maintaining mainframes, had a system in a
coffee
roasting plant. All the Kona (100%) I wanted, but rarely made coffee
at
home.

I purchased a Lb. of Kona Coffee and it was so "mellow", it tasted
like
watered down coffee. I normally like French Roast or a coffee with
some
flavor to it, even when I used twice as much Kona, it still tasted
like
watered down coffee, sort of the "Lite" version of coffee.

Hmmm. Something was wrong. Either the coffee, the directions on the
package or your following them. The "kona" I drank in Hawaii was rich,
full-bodied coffee with a great aroma.

Are you sure it was authentic kona?

Most Kona is a blend these days. to expensive for just Kona beans.

No, Kona is Kona. If it's a blend, of other coffees, it must say so.
Here's Peet's 100% Kona:

And here's list of 100% Kona coffees for sale:
http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=...oogle&ct=title

As stated, most Kona's these days are blends. Kona in probably big letters
and Blend in small leters.

Did you happen to read the URL's I gave you? Those are 100% Kona
