About $5K/yr for a 49 ft trawler, 12 month coverage, Florida, Bahamas, and entire east coast up to 100 nautical miles off shore. Thanks for putting thing back in perspective for the rest of Floridians. I thought I was going crazy reading about people paying $500/year for 35' boats. |

That's about what I was paying for a 33 ft sportfish up north. Our big challenge before we bought the boat was getting insurance at ANY price. It almost killed the deal. As it is, our deductible doubles with any named storm. PS, do you go out from Gordon Pass or Doctors Pass? |
