Boat Float experiences
I'm in the market for a method of keeping my son's new 32' Proline out
of the (salt) water in Barnegat Bay New Jersey. Hoists or elevators currently on the market haven't impressed me yet. I am looking for advice (preferrably experiences) with the boat float products from a company called BoatFloatLLC out of Boca Raton, FL. They're website is: http://www.boatfloatllc.com/index.html Many thanks...Jack |

The problem with out of the water storage is that the weight of the boat is being supported on a very small part of the bottom, and that's never a good thing. Now it's not too bad for a light boat, but as they get heavier, it gets woorse. By the way, I looked at the BoatUs artical on boats damaged in Florida huricanes, the boats that sustained the most damage, were stored on hoist. John |
