Boat Float experiences

I'm in the market for a method of keeping my son's new 32' Proline out
of the
(salt) water in Barnegat Bay New Jersey. Hoists or elevators currently
on the market
haven't impressed me yet. I am looking for advice (preferrably
experiences)
with the boat float products from a company called BoatFloatLLC out of
Boca Raton, FL.

They're website is: http://www.boatfloatllc.com/index.html

Many thanks...Jack

Jack, unless their's issues with wakes where your son is storing the
boat the best method of storing any boat is on it's own bottom, in
water. The problem with out of the water storage is that the weight of
the boat is being supported on a very small part of the bottom, and
that's never a good thing. Now it's not too bad for a light boat, but
as they get heavier, it gets woorse. By the way, I looked at the BoatUs
artical on boats damaged in Florida huricanes, the boats that sustained
the most damage, were stored on hoist.

John,

Thanks. That's an excellent point.
