It would have if I could have stopped the tripod from moving around in the breeze. It also might have helped if I had used my Celestron, but that has the wrong mount for my camera. :) My wife got me this one for Christmas. http://tinyurl.com/qgpuv , I'm hoping it won't get blown around too much.
