Hi All,
I'm looking at a '93 Ebbtide 180 runabout. Looks really clean. Well maintained. Some trailer rust. It'll be my first boat and plan on using it on the river and local lakes; plus maybe the upper Chesapeale Bay. But, I don't know anything about the brand, durability, or possible problems. I'd appreciate comments/opinions. TIA TomC |

Decent boats - mid level. You didn't say how it was powered.
You will probably have to get it surveyed to obtain any kind of decent insurance for it - it's over ten years old. Motor's 3LMercruiser/Alpha. Local marina is selling it. They've serviced it and are are familiar with it's history. Will do a sea trial and correct any issues that may come up. The previous owner traded it there and continues to use the marina. If boat insurance is like cars, I can do without comprehensive but need collision/liability. TomC |
