Next week I am going to check into the required instruction and get that
done. I found the MA application for a handgun or CWP. The last question
is "For what purpose are you applying for a CWP?", or something to that
affect. I guess the honest answer is "for protection of life and
property". It's not a hobby.

Guess not. I just checked the laws in MA. I can get a handgun permit, but
not a "Class A" or for "any lawful purpose" license to carry. My town is
listed as one of many that simply don't approve these. Heh. But the guy
...... oh, never mind.

I need to do some more research.
