![]() wrote in message oups.com... I don't have any practical sailing experience, but I've read a bit. Mostly on survival at sea. I want to be a mariner. The less modern the boat the better. I have a wife who will be in the U.K., and I'd like to re-unite with her after having crossed the Atlantic. I would also be getting an anchor tattoo when I make it. Does this sound too flippant? I really want to do this. I've been dreaming of an adventure at sea for years. Let me know what I can do and what I'd have to do. J Just get in the boat, set the compass to east and do it. Thousands of people did this, so if you don't make it, you won't be getting that tattoo. It's really no big deal. |
