I received my license plate for my trailer. There aren't any month and year
tags with it like we get for our cars and trucks. Does the boat trailer need tags on the plate or just the plate? I sure don't want to deal with the DMV to get new tags! |

In Virginia, permanent tags are pretty cheap ($52), and it's easy to forget you paid a few extra bucks. -- John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." |

They are "Permanent" trailer plates. But in 5 years, you have to pony up the money again. Still the 20 bucks for 5 years sures beats what I was paying. Only in California is permanent == 5 years. |

You know, we flooded during our heavy 10 day stretch of rain storms, but I'm not hearing flood reports for the PNW. ? |

There has been quite a bit flooding (http://tinyurl.com/bllvv and http://tinyurl.com/az6c5, for example), but we've just got too many hills for any real widespread flooding; We are getting a lot of mudslides and washouts, though. (http://tinyurl.com/a92ff) http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...eather14m.html "Rivers around the Seattle area were still at or near flood conditions on Friday, although National Weather Service flood watches in Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, King, Lewis, Mason, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston and Whatcom counties were set to expire at the end of the day. No new mudslides have been reported, but officials have said ground saturation levels continue to make more slides possible." Not only slides, but lots of trees have been coming down because of gusty winds and the fact that the ground is too saturated to hold the roots. -- ~/Garth - 1966 Glastron V-142 Skiflite: "Blue-Boat" "There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats." -- Kenneth Grahame ~~ Ventis secundis, tene cursum ~~ |
