That's why its very good to take some lessons from a good teacher early on, they'll point out your bad habits and get you on the right track. I am amazed at the number of teachers who don't even bother helping students develop the picking hand, and when I play guitar with other people, see picking styles that range from not economizing motion, to plain horrendous. |
