We just got back from visiting the kids in Richmond. We took the presents down there
this year to save her from the packing and driving up here. She's the one who had the
breast removal two weeks ago, and was back in yesterday for some further surgery. She
is in no shape to bring the family up here.

We had a most enjoyable time. The other daughter and family were there also, so we
had five grandchildren running around. Well, one was just crawling. Grandkids must
have been intelligently designed to give us old folks a lot of pleasure!

Tomorrow the local daughter and family come over to open gifts and have dinner. Prime
rib and big shrimp. Can't wait.
