Not only do you post with your real name, you used to be an almost neighbor of mine. You do look kind of spindly and brittle, though, John. If I were you, I'd be careful about mouthing off in front of your high school classes. One of those kids could take you out with a single bitch-slap. I bet he bought thet yellow V8 Mustang....to look cool and be accepted by the teenage students. Hey Don!! Careful......I am an old guy and I like that yellow V-8 Mustang. I think it looks damn good! Jim C. It's a cute car, no question about it. But to see an old fart like Herring driving one? What an absurdity. I really think Ford makes the best line of "American" cars now. I like GM's full-size pickups and the 'vette, but I think Ford has the best lineup of "car" cars. My wife is out in far western Virginia right now, driving north from the Carolinas in her Ford. I don't know how or why Chrysler stays in business. Ford/Mercury: Focus, Fusion, Taurus, 500, Crown Vic, Mustang, GT, Milan, Monetgo, Sable. Chrysler/Dodge: 300, PT Cruiser, Sebring, Crossfire, Neon, Stratus, Viper, Charger, Magnum There are two from Ford/Mercury that I would ever consider buying and one is too expensive. There are five from Chrysler/Dodge with one that is also too expensive. I agree with you about GM's cars with the addition of the XLR and maybe the SSR. Having purchased three full-size pickups in the last year for my business, I have to give my vote to Ford for price for the product. I could never understand how a truck from Dodge or GM would cost so much more than a F150. Dan |
